Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s),

It is with pleasure that I welcome your child to World Studies. It is my hope that this year will be a rich and rewarding learning experience for your son/daughter. It is my strong belief that education relies on a joint effort by Student, Parent, Teacher, and Administrators.

Attached please find a World Studies Course Info Sheet, a Parent/Guardian contact info sheet, and a Web-based Digital Teaching Portfolio Release Form

Your daughter/son is to 1review this packet with you, 2 discuss expectations for a successful 2002-2003 school year, 3 have you fill out and/or sign all of the requested forms, and 4 return the signature slips and forms to school on Wednesday, August 27.

I hope to see you at Back to School Night on Thursday, September 12, starting at 7 PM. I encourage all parents to schedule a Parent-Teacher Conference in November. Meanwhile, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions concerning the contents of this packet or need to communicate about any other matters. I may be reached at:
